I'm a Software Engineer with ~7 years of experience across Health Monitoring, Network Security, Cloud Security and Data Science. My educational journey includes a Masters degree in Data Science from BITS, Pilani (WILP) and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from IIIT, Kalyani.

Outside of my professional commitments, I am an avid learner, covering areas from Cybersecurity to Quantum Computing to stay at the forefront of technological advancements. I also enjoy quirky courses like drawing cartoons, learning foreign languages - fuelling my passion for continuous learning and exploration.

After finishing M.Tech., transitioned internally to a team focused on the Data Science side of things.
Segregated encrypted traffic using machine learning.
Worked on performance improvements in Cisco's Mercury and data pipelining for EVE (Encrypted Visibility Engine).
Designed and implemented an internal data collection tool to monitor various aspects of the data pipeline and model performance, visualizing the data on Grafana for multiple stakeholders.

Software Engineer III (Nov 2022 - Oct 2023)

Contributed to the design and development of an internal tool, aimed at tracking multiple metrics across different releases of Cisco's FTD (Firepower Threat Defense), proactively identifying bugs and facilitating efficient debugging processes.
Revamped telemetry data collection on FTD, minimizing code modifications required for adding new data.
Enabled OpenConfig support for the Health-Monitoring system on FTD.
